Some of you may know, and some of you may not, that my main outlet of creativity comes from writing, not making wallpapers.

I have been working on a vampire story for longer than I care to remember (off-and-on, not constantly), and have finally decided to kick my arse into gear and complete it. I have started uploading it for constructive criticism and comments, and it can be found here:

It is collectively called The Black Widow Trilogy and the first installment is currently titled 'Birth'. Here's a bit about it:

In the year 1603, riots and famine ravage feudal Russia, leaving misery and mayhem in their wake. One year after the sudden death of her father, Rani Kosareva startles awake, just in time to see her mentally ill mother being dragged bodily out of their home. Abandoned and alone, Rani struggles to survive her new life, unaware that, elsewhere, two ancient foes are deciding her fate...

There's madness, murder, mayhem. Romance, jealousy, sarcasm. Heartbreak, vice and revenge.

I would also like to add that I am forever an anti-Twilighter, so my vampires will not be soft, they DO kill people, and they certainly DO NOT sparkle. If this sounds like something you'd enjoy reading, please feel free to have a look.
